1 – What information do we collect and how do we collect it?
We collect the following information regarding visitors to the SALT VOLUNTEERS website:
- Information regarding what pages are accessed and when
- Information volunteered by you, such as your responses to surveys or competitions and information you provide by filling in forms on our sites, posting material or requesting services or information from us
- Your preferred means of communication and personal information offered by you when you contact us such as your address, phone number, email address etc
We may also have received information about you from third parties, such as your contact details when a friend has sent an e-card. You do not have to provide personal information to browse our site.

You agree not to adapt, alter or create a derivative work from any of the material contained on The Site and use it for any purpose other than your personal non-commercial use. You may not modify, publish, transmit, participate in the transfer or sale of, or reproduce in any way any part of The Site’s content without the prior written consent from SALT Volunteers.

For the purpose of confirming your compliance with these terms and conditions, SALT Volunteers reserves the right to monitor and record activity on The Site.
Both operation and network connectivity of The Site are monitored continually with appropriate alarms in the event of service interruptions.
9 – SALT Volunteers reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to all or part of The Site (including any right to access and use the content) with or without cause by delivering notice to you.
The rights of termination are in addition to all other rights or remedies of SALT Volunteers provided in these terms or by law.
10 – Whilst every effort has been made to ensure the high quality and accuracy of information on The Site, SALT Volunteers makes no warranty, express or implied concerning the content or The Site.
SALT Volunteers expressly disclaims all warranties including but not limited to warranties of fitness for a particular purpose and warranties of merchantability. In no event will SALT Volunteers be liable for direct, special, incidental, or consequential damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of business profits, business interruption, loss of business information or other pecuniary loss) arising directly or indirectly from the use or reliance on The Site services.
11 – Upon the request of SALT Volunteers you agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless SALT Volunteers from any claims and expenses, including reasonable legal fees related to any breach of these terms by you or your use of any site services.
12 – Neither SALT Volunteers nor its internet service provider (ISP) will be liable or deemed to be in default for any delay or failure in performance or interruption of this website resulting directly or indirectly from any cause or circumstance beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to failure of electronic or mechanical equipment or communication lines, telephone or other interconnect problems, computer viruses, unauthorised access, theft, operator errors, severe weather, earthquakes or natural disasters, strikes, or other labor problems, wars or governmental restrictions.
13 – You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold on you and to have any inaccuracies corrected.
SALT Volunteers is not responsible for the content of third party sites linked to The Site. They are independent of SALT Volunteers and their content is not endorsed or approved, even where the third party in question is stated to be a ‘partner’. If you agree to purchase goods or services offered on or through these third party sites, such as (but not limited to) travel bookings, merchandise and services, the resulting agreement will be entirely between you and the relevant party; we will not be involved in, or have any responsibility under those agreements.
Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, SALT Volunteers cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you submit to us, and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your transmission, we make our best effort to ensure its security on our systems.
14 – These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Disputes arising here from shall be exclusively subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If these Terms and Conditions are not accepted in full, you do not have permission to access the contents of The Site and therefore should cease using The Site immediately.
